With the advent of 'User Fields', Velocity can not only be the universal source for POS data but also other retailer- or store-specific data such as shipments, forecasts, demographics, planograms, sales territories and more.
User fields are a way to customize Velocity to the needs of your organization. In addition to the standard fields of information in Velocity’s databases, you can add your own item and store fields, or even new activity fields (“measures”). The new fields can be loaded with Velocity’s data import functions, displayed and charted in Velocity Analysis and included in reports in the Velocity Report Center.
